Ordering & Shipping Policy
The majority of our orders are shipped via the UPS and U.S. Postal Service and are specially packed to prevent breakage. The following is our ordering and shipping policy:
- We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, Amex and PayPal.
- ALL orders must be paid in full prior to shipping.
- We only ship within the U.S.
- International orders please call:

Return Policy
You may return any online purchase to us within 30 days of receiving it. Pending inspection, a refund will be issued to you for the value of the item including taxes. All shipping charges on returns are non-refundable.
Please notify us by email at info@newcandescent.com that you would like to return purchased items and include your name and order number.
A customer service associate will email you a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) and instructions on how to ship the product back to us. Any returns sent without a Return Goods Authorization will not be accepted and will be returned back to the shipper.
Upon receiving the product together with original invoice and receipt, the merchandise will be inspected and we will issue a refund for the amount of the products. Please note:
- All items must be returned in manufacturer’s original packaging.
- All shipping charges related to the original purchase will not be refunded.

Our American Steampunk Lamp Company is dedicated to protecting the privacy of our customers. We do not share or sell any personal information we receive. We collect information during website visits and during the purchase process only. Any site visit information is used to help enhance the overall newcandescent.com shopping experience and is used only in aggregate form. Purchase information is maintained in account form as required to engage in secure consumer-friendly e-commerce.
You may receive promotional emails if you purchase any of our products. If you’d like to opt-out of our mailing list, you can do so during the order process or by logging into your account and updating your preferences later. You may opt-out of our mailing list if you do not create an account during your order by using the “opt-out” link on any of our emails.
